Appin Home Farm has 2 self catering accommodations near Appin in Argyll situated in an area of outstanding beauty mid way between Oban and Fort William, overlooking Loch Linnhe. Pubs, shops and excellent restaurants are 5 miles away as are lovely sandy beaches. There is also sea fishing locally. The Coach House is at the left hand end of the main building. This delightful recently converted 19th century coach house sleeps 5. Comfortable and well equipped, it is set in a pretty courtyard adjoining the owners' home. It is a short walk from a shingle beach with riding and a water sports / boat hire centre (run by the owner) and enjoys shared use of a large garden and games barn. It has a large sitting / dining / kitchen area with lovely panoramic views. On the first floor there is 1 double bedroom with basin, 1 twin and 1 single bedroom and bath / shower with separate WC. The heating is all electric and is included in the rent. There is a TV, radio / cassette, microwave, dishwasher, fridge / freezer, washer / tumble dryer. Electric hob and oven / grill, cot, high chair and barbecue. Bed linen is provided. Towels can be provided for overseas visitors - £2 per person extra NB Changeover day is Friday. The Garden Cottage is a comfortable, traditional 19th century cottage at the west side of the courtyard with lovely views to the south and to the north. It has its own small, private garden. It sleeps 4 and an additional Z bed can be used. It has an Entrance Porch, Living Room, Dining Room, galley style fitted Kitchen, Shower Room/WC, rear Porch/Utility room. On the first floor there are 2 bedroom with sloping ceilings - one double bedded room and one twin bedded room. There is a bathroom/WC with shower attachment. Oil central heating is included in the rent. NB Changeover day is Saturday. Both cottages share the use of a large garden and games barn with table tennis, pool / snooker table, darts, piano and exercise bike. They are comfortable and well equipped with a TV/Video, radio/CD player, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washer/tumble drier, electric hob, oven / grill, cot, highchair and barbecue.
