We really know how to look after our guests with fantastic full Scottish or Continental breakfasts.  The Auld Alliance Bed and Breakfast boasts an ideal location just 1 mile from the vibrant city centre and only 5 miles from Edinburgh Airport.  We are 2 minutes from an excellent bus service, where you can catch numerous buses to the city centre with its restaurants, shops, shows and attractions. The Western General Hospital is less than 10 minutes walk from The Auld Alliance, and Murrayfield and Heart of Midlothian FC Stadiums are within easy walking distance too.  We are easily accessible from Haymarket and Waverley Stations, the Forth Road Bridge (gateway to the Highlands) and the M8, the main artery from Glasgow and the West.

There are 4 bedrooms (double/ twin/ family) each with luxury ensuite shower with flat screen TV/ towels/ hairdryer.  All are non smoking of course and there is central heating in every room with individual temperature control.  The rooms are cleaned daily.  Your bed is large and comfortable.  There is Wi-Fi in all rooms.  We are very proud of the quality of our rooms - our superb showers are loved and much praised by visiting guests. We also have wonderful facilities for you to enjoy on return from busy days out - relax in our spacious lounge, where there are tea and coffee making facilities and watch TV or DVDs. We do everything we can to make your stay as relaxed and comfortable as possible…we grew up in Edinburgh and are always on hand to give advice on the best places to visit in the city.
