Balkissock Lodge offers luxury bed and breakfast in Ballantrae, Ayrshire, not far from Turnberry, Girvan and Stranraer.  Once a farm, then a shooting Lodge, left empty for 15 years neglected and decaying, now restored to a comfortable guesthouse.  Situated in the hills behind Ballantrae, its splendid location offers peace, stunning scenery - the perfect place to get away from it all.

We offer comfortable ensuite rooms with full facilities; a conservatory dining room with views of the hills, garden, birds and wild life and the lounge is just big soft sofas and a log fire!  What more could you want for?

There is plenty to do and see in the area too!  There are castles, coastline, fishing and golf or cycling, walking and gardens galore.  On the doorstep we have Turnberry Golf Course, Culzean castle, Logan Botanical Gardens and the Galloway Forest to name but a few.  This area is described as taking a step back in time with its slow easy pace of life - ideal for a relaxing break.
