Ballochneck is a fine Victorian Country House built during the 1800s, offering exclusive luxury bed and breakfast accommodation, 5 miles from Loch Lomond, yet less than 1 hour from Edinburgh and 30 minutes from Glasgow. The house is completely secluded and private, sitting amidst lawns, rhododendrons and old specimen trees with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and countryside. There are 2 sumptuous bedrooms - Sir William's Bedroom and The Yellow Bedroom, both of which have their own private bathrooms. Both are beautiful sunny rooms which offer breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. You may also choose to stay in The Yellow Bedroom Suite, this includes The Yellow Bedroom, The Taggart Bedroom and Shared Bathroom. The panelled hall, the drawing room leading into the magnificent conservatory, the mirrored walls of the dining room, all with roaring fires and comfortable furnishings are yours to relax in and enjoy. There is the original Edwardian billiard table in the billiard and card room for some late night fun. The two sumptuous bedroom suites have open fires for romantic winter evenings. Fresh herbs and fruit from the fruit trees, locally produced beef and free range eggs, and our own lamb and game are used in cooking and baking in the kitchen. Fresh bread is made each day.
