Old Bankend Farmhouse is a large self catering holiday home near Stirling sleeping up to 12 people.

Accommodation comprises:
2 large double bedrooms (one of them kingsize)
2 twin / double bedded rooms (these beds are zip and link and so can be double or twin beds)
1 twin bedded room (2 single beds)
2 Large Lounges
Large Kitchen / Dinning Room
2 toilets - with with shower, 1 with bath

There is also a patio - reached through French Doors from the Dinning area - to the rear of the house where you can enjoy a barbeque in the Summer months.  There is a large garden to the front.  The Farmhouse is situated within the agricultural plains around Stirling and has views of Stirling Castle.  It is only 5 minutes from the centre of Stirling itself.

By arrangement, we can offer good homemade dinner in the main farm for certain nights of your stay.  Alternatively, there are many small villages only a few minutes drive away where you can find a great variety of eating places:
Kippen (The Kippen Inn)  Gargunnock (Gargunnock Inn) Thornhill, Bridge of Allan and, of course, in Stirling itself.

The Farmhouse is ideal for families.  There are a myriad of places to visit and things to do in and around Stirling:

The Wallace Monument
The Old Town Jail  in Stirling
Leisure Centre / Swimming pool in Stirling
Cinema & Bowling  in Stirling
Theatre & cinema at the McRobert Centre, Stirling University
Golf - we are surrounded by many golf course including St Andrews (approx 1 hour), Gleneagles (20 mins), Blairgowrie (1½ hours) & Loch Lomond (20 mins)
Safari Park at Blair Drummond
Fishing at North Third Trout Fisheries near Stirling
Shopping at the House of Bruar (1½ hours), many small, interesting shops in Bridge of Allan, variety of shops in Stirling
