The Cottages are set amongst the stunning scenery of the Moray Firth coast, exactly half way between Inverness and Aberdeen, the perfect location for exploring Speyside and the Highlands.

Both cottages were originally part of an old croft and steading, sympathetically and lovingly renovated & refurbished , offering fantastic views of both sea and countryside. The cottages, set in a rural location at the edge of a small village, offer luxurious accommodation for those seeking a peaceful and relaxing holiday.  The nearest fishing town, Buckie is only 2 miles away with all the conveniences of shops, pubs and restaurants, garage etc.

Blaemuir cottage sleeps 2 (+1) Glenmor cottage sleeps up to 6

The county of Moray is known as the Scottish Riviera. The area gets very little rain and a warmer and more gentle climate than most other parts of the UK. The North East of Scotland has remained, in many ways, largely undiscovered and extremely beautiful.   Miles of deserted sandy beaches, pretty fishing villages (including Pennan - set of the film Local Hero - 1986), forests, mountains and lochs. The famous Whisky and Castle Trails take you on a discovery journey through Moray. The heart of Cairngorm mountain range at Aviemore is just 40 minutes by car.

Moray is a wild life lovers dream. The Moray Firth boasts its very own resident Dolphin population which can be spotted all year round. Osprey can be seen from May, fishing for Salmon from the sea at Spey Bay nature reserve along with many hundreds of migrating birds. Otter, Seals, Eagles and Whales can also be spotted throughout the year.

For the more active, the Speyside Way is a way-marked trail covering nearly a hundred miles through Moray; the trail starts in the nearby town of Buckie. Permanent orienteering trails are marked in the numerous forests near by. The National Cycle Route is signposted, taking you through forests and fishing villages. Moray has more golf courses than any other county in the UK. Horse riding and Sea/Loch fishing for Trout and Salmon. Something for everyone - all within easy reach from the cottages
