Travelling from England/South of Scotland
Follow the M74 to Juntion 4, then join the M73 (Glasgow, Kincardine Bridge, Stirling).

Coninue on M73 to Junction 2 and onto the M8 (Glasgow and City Centre).

Stay on M8 to cross Glasgow leaving the M8 at Junction 30 to join the M898 (Erskine Bridge, Loch Lomond). Erskine Bridge Toll = 60p.  Cross the Erskine Bridge leaving by the left lane following signs for the A82 (signed Crianlarich).  This route takes you through Dumbarton and along the banks of Loch Lomond.

Continue on the A82 to Tarbet (approx 26 miles from Erskine Bridge) when you should take the A83 (Campbeltown - this is a continuation of the road you are on, do not turn right for Crianlarich).

As you drive along the edge of Loch Fyne note the black and white façade of Inveraray, one of the earliest (mid 19th century) and best preserved planned towns in Scotland. Approaching Inveraray, as you wait at traffic lights before the bridge, look to your right to see Inveraray Castle home to the Duke of Argyll.  As you enter Inveraray turn right onto the A819 (Dalmally and Oban) under the first arch.

Continue along Glen Aray, as you descend a long hill Loch Awe is in front of you (if visibility is poor you may not see it!)

10 miles from Inveraray, turn left onto the B840 (Cladich, Portsonachan and Ford).

Follow the B840 for 10 miles till you reach Blarghour Farm on left hand side. Please come to Blarghour Farmhouse on your arrival.
