Availability The booking is made on the understanding that we will make the accommodation available to you on the dates stated. Should this not be possible due to events beyond our reasonable control we will offer you alternative dates or refund of your accommodation rental, but you will have no other claim or remedy against us. Six working days will be allowed between verbal enquiry and receipt of deposit.
Payment A deposit of one quarter of the total rental is payable on booking, the remainder to be received by us no later than 4 weeks before arrival.
Cancellation In the event of cancellation the deposit is non-returnable and the following scale of charges will apply: up to 4 weeks - deposit only; 2 - 4 weeks - 50% of total holiday cost; within 2 weeks of holiday - 100% of total holiday cost. All cancellations must be notified in writing or via email by the client. We recommend that you take out holiday insurance which includes cancellation expenses.
Times On the day of arrival occupation can be expected by 4pm; on the day of departure accommodation must be vacated by 10.30am.
Occupancy Only those persons notified to us in your confirmation of booking may occupy the accommodation. If this condition is breached we have the right to terminate the contract immediately without refund. We reserve the right to terminate, vary or re-allocate the accommodation where all material facts are not disclosed. Any unauthorised extension of stay will be charged at the full daily rate.
Linen Duvet covers, pillow cases, fitted sheets, two hand towels and tea towels are supplied.
Care We would ask you to leave the accommodation and its contents clean and tidy when vacating. No fat left in pots and pans please. If excessive cleaning is required a 'Double Cleaning Charge' will be levied - normally £25. Please check the inventory and report any damages or breakages immediately. All damages or breakages of the fittings, utensils, crockery or cutlery must be reported and will be charged for.
Pets Pets are permitted in the Log Cabin. Only adult animals will be permitted - provided they are healthy, fully house-trained and kept under control at all times. Pets must not lie on any of the furniture and must be restrained from causing undue annoyance to neighbours. They should not be left unattended in the Log Cabin and prohibited from fouling all areas around the accommodation.
Security Deposit The proprietors reserve the right to require the payment of a Security Deposit on the day of arrival. Any money so paid will be refunded provided the accommodation and equipment are in a clean and undamaged condition on departure.
Responsibility The principal enquirer via email or by telephone or fax accepts liability for the behaviour of all party members and for ensuring that conditions of booking are adhered to, for loss or damage to the accommodation and the contents.
Age Limit The Log Cabin cannot be rented to persons under eighteen years of age.
Personal Effects We will not be responsible for the loss or damage to personal property of guests occupying the accommodation. Vehicles, their accessories and contents are left at your own risk. Postage and packaging will be charged for return of belongings left behind.
Accidents We will not be responsible for any injury or death insofar as it results from the proven negligence of the Proprietor.
Music When using stereo equipment or similar appliances, please consider others, especially between 11pm and 8am. No late night disturbances will be tolerated.
Accommodation If for any reason the accommodation is unsatisfactory please notify us immediately so that appropriate action can be taken. We cannot accept subsequent claims for shortcomings not so notified.
Delays No liability can be accepted should adverse weather conditions delay your travel plans.
Rent Act The booking agreement confers a right to occupy the accommodation for the period agreed for holiday purposes only. The terms of the rent act are excluded
