Cluaran House is situated off the Bruntsfield area of Edinburgh, and close to the very centre of the city. On the Left is an Edinburgh street map which includes the city centre, including Princes Street, The Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle.

Highlighted in yellow on the map of Edinburgh are some of the routes through which you could arrive in Edinburgh. Coming from the Airport it is likely you would travel along Shandwick Place (by Airport Coach) or Morrison Street (by Taxi) to Lothian Road and Tollcross.

Arriving via Rail you would arrive at Waverley Station (the Airport Coach also terminates here), where you can either hail a Taxi or catch a bus on Princes Street (see bottom), heading West towards Lothian Road / Bruntsfield / Morningside.

If you are arriving from the North, you should proceed to the city centre and Queensferry Street to reach Princes Street via Charlotte Square.

Proceeding to Tollcross (the area between Lothian Road, Gilmore Place and Melville Drive) You can either head along Gilmore Place or onwards to Bruntsfield Place. Having chosen either way you then go to Leamington Terrace, which is one of the streets linking the two.  From 5.30pm there is free overnight parking in our street and all day parking at the weekends. In nearby streets there are free all-day parking spaces, enabling the unloading of your luggage at our doorstep before parking safely 2 minutes away - please ask your hostess Noreen for details.
