They are 7 miles from Stirling itself and is an ideal base for exploring Central Scotland. Surrounded by views of the Trossachs and the Southern Highlands, its rural location ensures a peaceful holiday but it is only a few miles from the motorway (M9), enabling visitors to travel easily to any part of Central Scotland and beyond. Corshill House: Originally a blacksmiths cottage, dating back to 1810, Corshill House has been extended to provide relaxed, spacious and comfortable accommodation for 8 people (+ child). It stands amidst a large informal cottage garden. Click here for accommodation details Smiddy and Stables Cottage: Located in a different area of the garden, separate and secluded from the house, the former Smiddy and Stables has been converted into 2 smart open-plan apartments, the Stables sleeps 2 people and the Smiddy has a sofa-bed and can sleep up to 4. Cot (linen not included) and highchair on request. There is ample car parking within the grounds for all visitors to Corshill. There is a garage, which is suitable for storing bicycles etc. The accommodation can be let individually or fully/partly together. Sorry, no smoking and no pets. St Andrews, Loch Lomond, The National Park, Edinburgh and Glasgow (airports) are within one hour’s drive. The Trossachs and Callander are just a few miles away, as is Stirling with its magnificent castle, the Wallace Monument, Bannockburn Heritage Centre and the Old Town Jail. Stirling also has a good bus/rail terminal, a modern shopping centre and several supermarkets. There is also a good selection of pubs and restaurants in the area.
