Dalfaber Golf & Country Club borders the famous River Spey, beneath the splendour of the imposing Cairngorm Mountains – the UK’s largest winter sports area close to Aviemore. The Cairngorm now Scotland’s second National Park and Cairngorm Mountain’s funicular railway is proving to be one of Scotland’s top tourist attractions, with magnificent views, and an exhibition area. Landmark Forest Heritage Park at Carrbridge, beautiful Loch Morlich and the Spey Valley Steam Railway are more of the area’s outstanding attractions.

Words fail to do justice to the location - and our standards are equally uncompromising. To begin with, you can choose between genuinely luxurious and spacious apartments and lodges - or cosy pine Scandinavian-style chalets. The apartments and lodges match the very best in self catering standards and facilities. All have a dishwasher, direct dial telephone and a patio or balcony with outdoor furniture. Many also have their own en-suite sauna and brick-built barbecue. The larger lodges have a second bathroom. The chalets have glazed conservatories with dining furniture. All the accommodation including the chalets has a TV and video and a fully fitted and equipped kitchen with a microwave. We also provide plentiful linen and towels. Of course, everything is set amidst silver birch trees along the banks of the river Spey around Dalfaber's own nine hole golf course (which is free to resort guests). Dalfaber is a resort for everyone.

Gentle gradients and large open spaces contrast with indoor leisure facilities - including a tropically styled swimming pool, gym, huge games hall with indoor tennis and badminton, squash courts and snooker room. The indoor playroom is a safe, soft and fun play area for children.

The Spey Valley boasts a host of holiday activities, from gentle forest walks to winter snow ski-ing. There is also a selection of all-year-round visitor attractions, including historic castles, wildlife parks and activity centres. From Dalfaber you can walk or take a short drive to the tourist centre of Aviemore. Also within half an hour's drive are the Cairngorm Mountains and chairlift, Culloden Battlefield, historic Inverness and Loch Ness. The Spey Valley Steam Railway operates the 4½ miles from Aviemore to Boat of Garten.
