The chalets were originally designed to keep out the Arctic winter of Scandinavia, and are heavily insulated, double-glazed, cosy and warm. They have a large living and dining area, incorporating a well-equipped kitchenette. The bathroom contains a bath, basin, WC and shaving point.

Five chalets accommodate 6, in three bedrooms, two accommodate 4 in two bedrooms. An additional person can be accommodated in each chalet on an adult folding bed.

In the main bedroom, there is either a double bed (in 4 chalets) or twin beds (3 chalets). The other bedrooms contain two adult-sized tiered bunk beds.
