Built on the side of a hill and recently extended, it provides testing golf with views of Menteith Hills and Ben Lomond. Here it helps to have one leg longer that the other!

Typical country course with a mixture of short and long holes set in pleasant countryside.

Alva Golf Course 9 holes, 2407 yds. Par 64. 
Lying at the foot of the Ochil Hills, this is a wooded hillside course with a reputation for fast greens.

Auchterarder Golf Course 18 holes, 5778 yds. Par 68. 
Not to be outshone by its illustrious neighbour. It provides golf for the holiday maker and is less expensive than Gleneagles.

Blairgowrie Golf Course
Rosemount 18 holes, 6588 yds. Par 72
Lansdowne 18 holes, 6802yds. Par 72
Wee Course  2327 yds. Par 64
Rosemount, the older course by James Baird and the newer lengthier, more testing Lansdowne are fine heath courses lined with pines, silver birch, heather and gorse. Both demand certain accuracy off the tee. Don't miss the Wee course.

Looking down over the town, the course is an attractive, hilly course full of interesting lies and colourful views.

18 holes with a good mixture of lengths including the well known “Avenue”, a tree shrouded hole spoiler of many good scores!

Rural golf with entertaining and well placed greens, look out for the sheep! Popular course

Splendid Perthshire scenery, a challenge for the experienced and the beginner.  Water hazards stocked with trout (fishing permits necessary)

A busy testing course with a variety of holes including dog legs, many bunkers with good greens and fairway.

Heath course with panoramic views, a touch steep in parts just outside the lovely town of Dunkeld.

Slight hills with narrow fairways - reasonably testing.

The famous regal courses that live up to their international reputation. Picturesque heathland covered in heather, silver birch and rowan.

Killin Golf Course 9 holes, 2410 yds. Par 65
Testing nine-hole course with blind holes and a pond t contend with. Set in picturesque part of Killin. Not advisable to slice at the first. the River Lochay is very near!

Kenmore Golf Course 9 holes, 6505 yds. Par 66 Not to be confused with its illustrious neighbour the other side of the water; this is a new nine-hole course. Its quality, mildly undulating layout provides you with a testing game on first class greens.

Muckart Golf Course 18 holes, 6180 yds. Par 70
Most picturesque course of medium length and test. It has been described as a "Miniature Gleneagles".

Murrayshalls - Scone Golf Course 18 holes, 6416 yds. Par 73
Since opening it has built a reputation for excellence. Notable is the 4th with well-placed ponds and bunkers to present a slight challenge.

Muthil Golf Course 9 holes, 5778yds. Par 88

No room for errors on this short narrow course. Certainly not as easy as it looks.

- Good Village Tea shop in Muthill. 
Perth Golf Course - (3 Courses)
Craigie Hill 18 holes, 5379 yds. Par 66

Very hilly difficult short course. Great views of the Tay from Spion Kop (5th hole).
- Practice putting green, caddy cars, tuition and pro shop. - - Restaurant, Bar and bar meals. NO visitors Saturdays. DRESS CODE - NO jeans or collarless shirts on course/clubhouse. No shorts in clubhouse.
North Inch Golf Course 18 holes, 5178yds. Par 65

- Picturesque flat parkland course alongside the Tay with deceiving distances.
- All welcome to pay and play. No facilities at course.
King James Golf Course VI Moncrieff Island 18 holes 5177yds. Par 68 One of only two Island Golf Courses in the world, the other being in Japan! Parkland course and relatively easy going. 
- Golf shop, Practice area, caddy cars and full catering and Bar facilities
- No visitors on Saturdays
Pitlochry Golf Course 18 holes, 5811 ycls. Par 68

Steep uphill for the first four, but well worth it. Comes highly recommended and has great views south down the Tay Valley.

Stirling Golf Course 18 holes, 6409yds, Medal Par 71, Front tee Par 69


A fine open course in attractive parkland setting. Broad fairways with considerable uphill movement, not suitable for the older golfer on a hot day!

Strathtay Golf Course 9 holes, 4082yds. Par 63
All up and down, a fun course though still a challenge - g surroundings.

St Fillans Golf Course 9 holes, 5628 yds. Par 68


The Popular Local. Reasonably flat course, not very testing but good sport. This course is certainly one of the most panoramic settings in this part of Scotland.

Taymouth Castle Golf Course 18 holes, 6066 yds.

Parkland course set in Kenmore, flattish with wide fairway and testing greens. If the golf is not good, views of the Castle and River Tay make up for it.

Tillicoultry Golf Course 9 holes, 5358yds. Par 66
A hilly, well drained course that makes for good playing.

In the heart of beautiful rural Perthshire. Since opening in 1994 the course has matured to become an interesting challenge, somewhat like claret of the same vintage.
