The accommodation is accessed by Old Edinburgh Road South - a no through road, which ensures a quiet location (aided by the mature trees that surround the house).  This road was the main Edinburgh road up until 80 years ago. Before that it was a General Wade road and before that a drover's road.

Inverness has its own airport (Dalcross Airport) and has daily flights from London, Glasgow and Edinburgh, as well as many flights to the Western Isles, Orkney Islands and Shetland Islands.

Glendruidh House offers comfortable accommodation near Raigmore Hospital, Beechwood Retail and Business Park, and the headquarters of Life Scan Scotland. Raigmore Hospital, Beechwood Park and Life Scan Scotland are each approximately one mile from this accommodation. More importantly, you can travel to all three locations by road without having to go through Inverness city centre traffic.
