The Grassmarket Apartment: This second floor apartment has spectacular views of Edinburgh Castle and is situated very centrally in the historic old town within walking distance of most major visitor attractions, including the Castle, Holyrood Palace, Princes Street Gardens, galleries, theatres, museums concert halls, and Edinburgh International Conference Centre. The Grassmarket is a large square in a vibrant area with restaurants, wine bars and pubs just a few steps away. The train station and airport bus stop are only a short distance. There is a multi-story car park nearby and metered parking in the Grassmarket, though a car is not needed in such a central area. This first floor apartment is converted from a 130 year old carriage house in a quiet cobbled lane only ten minutes walk from the West end of Princes Street. It is conveniently situated for many visitor attractions and the Edinburgh International Conference Centre and the financial district are within walking distance. It is a short taxi ride from the train station and within walking distance of the airport bus stop.
