Greengables self catering cottage in Anstruther is a charming and unique detached town house centrally located  and just a few hundred metres from Anstruther's picturesque harbour, foreshore and local amenities. The house is tucked away down a traditional cobbled lane.  Accommodation is of a very high standard with 3 twin bedrooms and a master double bedroom, the latter with ensuite facilities. The  large lounge with picture window overlooks the landscaped walled garden which has a fish pond, ornamental waterfall, feature sun patio - enjoyed by guests for alfresco dining!

Anstruther is a popular coastal town for a vacation in Scotland, here in the East Neuk of Fife with its fantastic harbour lined with great restaurants, coffee shops, and bars including the world famous and award winning fish & chip shop, fisheries museum and shops. There are many beautiful walks and beaches, with the Ffe Coastal Path running right through the town.  Local amenities include a 9 hole golf course, tennis courts, bowling green and sports centre.   

Being so close to St Andrews, it is a popular place with guests staying at Greengables, who want to visit the world-famous golf courses,  and if you want to play golf you will find some of the  finest golf courses within close proximity. Golf's home is the Old Course at St Andrews - the Royal and Ancient Golf Club. There are also ancient championship links and modern golf courses nearby. The beaches at St Andrews stretch for miles including the popular West Sands. Greengables is a superior, large self catering accommodation near St Andrews, but with all the quaintness of the East Neuk of Fife fishing villages on its doorstep.
