Hawthorn cottage near Stirling offers self catering accommodation in central Scotland on a working farm. The cottage was purpose built in 2001 to the highest possible standards. On its own site on the farm, the cottage enjoys a quiet and peaceful location with panoramic views over farmland towards The Wallace Monument, the Ochil and Gargunnock hills and the Grampian Mountains. All year round we have highland cattle grazing in the field next to the cottage.
The kitchen is fully equipped (see detailed summary of facilities). The cottage has a private garden and plenty of parking space. We are situated 3 miles north of stirling and 1 mile from the M9. Blairdrummond Safari Park is just a short run along the A84 as is the road to the Trossachs. We are 40 minutes drive from both Glasgow and Edinburgh. Stirling city has a wide range of things to see and visit - Stirling Castle, The Wallace Monument & The Old Town Jail, Stirling offers a wider range of sport and leisure pursuits including Golf, Ice Skating, Swimming, Fishing and Hill Walking.
