From  the  South,  West,  &  East:
Take  the  lochside  road  from  Helensburgh  to Garelochhead.  On  the  outskirts  of  Garelochhead take  a  left  turn,  follow  the  sign  for  Kilcreggan,  doubling  back  down  the  opposite  side  of  the  Gareloch.  Pass  through  Clynder  &  Rosneath.  Follow  the  road  over  the  hill  to  Kilcreggan.  Pass  through  the  village  of  Kilcreggan,  along  the  shore  road  to  Cove  village,  which  is  continuous  with  Kilcreggan.  Pass  the  Sailing  Club  on  the  left,  and  the  sub  Post  Office  on  the  right.  Slow  down  on  the  next  bend,  pass  the  local  shop  on  the  right,  and almost  immediately  take  1^st  right  up  the  narrow  North  Ailey  Road.

A couple  of  hundred  metres,  on  the  right  is  the  entrance  to  Hamlet  Hill.  Hazeldean  is  just  past  this  on  your  left,  and  has  a  wooden  garage  and  parking  space  at  the  road  side.  The  Cottage  is  down  the  steps  overlooking  the  Loch.
  

From  the  North:
If  approaching  from  the  Arrochar  direction  at  the  head  of  Loch  Long.  Follow  signs  for  Garelochhead.  Turn  right  before  the  village  centre  down  Gareloch  in  the  direction  of  Kilcreggan.  And  continue  as  above.  Otherwise  follow  above  directions  from  Helensburgh
