James Cottage, built in the 1830s, is a 3-star family run guest house offering Bed and Breakfast in Crieff with 4 large rooms, all en-suite. You are sure of a very warm welcome as you share our home. There are two double bedrooms, a large family-room & a ground floor luxury twin room, all decorated to the highest standards. James Cottage is also very proud of its award-winning breakfast. All food is from local sources whenever possible and is cooked according to guests' wishes.

Accommodation comprises:
Robert the Bruce Room - a family room with 1 double bed & 2 bunk beds for the children. An additional bed is available if required. In the room, there are also games & toys for the children.
Robert Burns Room - overlooks the mountain range to the north of Crieff. It has a comfortable orthopedic double bed and a new purpose-built bedroom suite. Located to the rear of the house, it provides that extra degree of comfort and elegance.
Rob Roy MacGregor Room - a favourite room with our guests, Rob Roy has a comfortable double bed.
William Wallace Room - ground floor twin bedded room with it's large bay window and traditional mahogany shutters.

All rooms have TV, toiletries, tea and coffee making facilties, shaving socket, board games, sewing repair basket, DVD player (by prior arrangement), alarm clock, ironing and drying facilities on request. There is a guest quiet sitting area within the large dining room that can facilitate 20 guests. It is a non-smoking house throughout, sorry. The house has been recently double-glazed throughout and it certainly adds to its usual comfort.

There is ample off road, private parking. If there are enough guests in one party staying at one time, the facility of a full barbecue in available in the private gardens - by prior arrangement, of course.

Your host has played as a regular on the European PGA Seniors Golf Tour before a spinal injury forced him to halt his tour career. Golf and game fishing are his passions and therefore, we are always delighted to plan a full itinerary for keen golfers and anglers alike, and at no extra charge!
