FROM GLASGOW: take the signs to Loch Lomond and Crianlarich on the A82. Follow this to Fort William then either take the A830 to Mallaig, where you must have a reservation on the ferry, or continue along the A82 to Spean Bridge and then to Invergarry. At Invergarry turn left onto the A87 and follow the signs to Kyle of Lochalsh and the Skye Bridge. (Travelling time by car 4 - 5 hours.) FROM EDINBURGH: take the signs to the Forth Road Bridge A90 and Perth M90. Then follow the signs to Inverness on the A9 as far as Dalwhinnie. Turn left off the A9 at Dalwhinnie, following the signs to Spean Bridge A889 then left onto the A86. At Spean Bridge turn right onto the A82 and signs to Kyle of Lochalsh and Invergarry. Turn left at Invergarry on the A87 to Kyle of Lochalsh and the Skye Bridge. (Travelling time by car 4 - 5 hours.) |
FROM INVERNESS: take the A82 signed to Loch Ness, Invermoriston and Kyle of Lochalsh. At Invermoriston take the A887 to Kyle of Lochalsh. This becomes the A87 and goes straight to Kyle of Lochalsh. Follow the signs to the Skye Bridge. (Travelling time by car maximum 2 hours.) FROM THE SKYE BRIDGE: turn right at the roundabout, leading to Portree. Follow the A87 for five miles, then turn left onto the A851 to Armadale. The turn-off to Kinloch Lodge is five miles down this road on the left. Follow the small road for about a mile until you reach us! FROM ARMADALE FERRY: Take A851 to Isle Ornsay and Broadford. Kinloch Lodge is 10 miles north on the right hand side of road. |
