Ladywell House offers Country House style Bed and Breakfast by Falkland in Scotland.  The house is situated on the edge of the village and is surrounded by an acre of beautiful walled garden. There are 3 guest bedrooms with a mix of double/twin, ensuite/private, bath/shower.

From the minute you arrive you are warmly welcomed and every effort is made to ensure you feel totally relaxed and at home. At Ladywell House, your hosts Duncan and Camilla aim to establish a special relationship between you and their family within their beautiful home. This combination of warmth and style guarantees to make every visit a memorable one.

The Drawing Room, large and pretty, complete with open log fire and three windows to the north and west leads to a large and sunny Conservatory where breakfast and dinner are served. You may dine at Ladywell by prior arrangement   The conservatory has commanding views towards Falkland Palace and beyond.

All rooms are furnished with fine antique furniture and art, and guests will dine with family silver. Both host and hostess have had formal training in cooking and our breakfasts are wonderful. Camilla spent a childhood in South Africa and has catered in Shooting Lodges and for Corporate Events for 10 years. Duncan is a retired stockbroker who enjoys cooking the game that he has caught or shot. He has trained with Rosemary Shrager (of Castle Cook fame).

Ladywell House was formerly owned by Francis Shand-Kydd the mother of the late Diana, Princess of Wales. It has been visited by Diana, and her grandsons, Princes William and Harry. The house is a former manse, built in 1804, commanding outstanding views over North Fife and the historic and picturesque village of Falkland, where the famous Falkland Palace is an important visitor attraction.
