Conditions of hire for Loaninghead Holidays


The booking form located here should only be used to confirm
your renting of the property following an offer from the owner and be accompanied by a deposit cheque.

1. The hiring contract shall be between the hirer and Mrs M Paterson, the owner, and shall be deemed to be made subject to these conditions of hire.
2. The booking is not binding until it is confirmed by the owner.
3. The period of hire shall be from 4 pm on the day of arrival and the flat must be vacated by 10.00 am on day of departure, unless otherwise stated or agreed in writing.
4. A deposit of £75 should be sent with the signed booking form.
5. A full balance of the total amount is payable not later than 4 weeks before arrival.
6. The hirer shall at all times maintain the flat and contents in a clean and tidy condition and accept the accommodation as it is equipped at commencement of hire. The owner reserves the right to make any additional charge to the departing tenant if the cottage is left in a dirty condition.
7. Hirers are responsible for the replacement of any article broken or damaged during their occupation of the property and for the repair of any damage done to the property.
8. The flat shall be used solely for holiday purposes and the hirer shall not sublet the hired premises or any equipment from the hired premises.
9. The hirer shall allow the owner or employees entry to the premises for all reasonable purposes.
10. This is a NO SMOKING accommodation, and sorry NO PETS.
11. In the event of cancellation the hirer must advise the owner in writing immediately, once monies have been paid this is forfeited should holiday be cancelled .All effort will be made to re-let if possible.
12. In the event of non-availability of the property for any reason beyond the owner's control (eg fire) all rent and charges paid in advance by the applicant will be refunded, but the applicant shall have no further claim against the owner.
13. The owner reserves the right to decline to hand over the property to any person who in their opinion is not suitable to take charge. In such cases the hire charge will be refunded in full and the liability of the owner shall cease.
14. In the winter spring and autumn seasons the minimum let is 3 days. In summer season the minimum let is 7 days.
15. Bookings are not necessarily for Saturday to Saturday.
16. Reduced rates are negotiable for extended stays.
