Inchmurrin and Ptarmigan Lodges look identical from the exterior. However, whereas Ptarmigan Lodge offers ground floor accommodation alone, Inchmurrin Lodge also has accommodation on an upper floor.

However, it is larger, incorporating two separate rooms upstairs, rather than one open plan area and has a spa bath, sauna, superior interior decor and furnishings and king sized beds. Montrose Lodge is self-contained with the French doors leading from the lounge area onto a furnished decked patio area with BBQ and private parking.

The ground floor offers the spectacular octagonal lounge/drawing room with TV, DVD, video and stereo. This room has a flexible configuration on split levels with a dining area and two sitting areas, focussing on a central fireplace with wood burning stove. The drawing room has garden access through French style doors onto a large, furnished decking area with hot tub, gas BBQ and views over the considerable private garden with impressive tree swing and surrounding woodland. This room is simply stunning at all hours of the day, as the sun fills the room constantly via the windows, French Doors and ceiling windows.
The main entrance to Dalnair Lodge leads to a reception hall. From here a staircase lit by charming lancet windows winds up the castellated turret. Off the upper landing is the master double bedroom with en suite and a further twin bedroom. On the ground floor off the hall are the guest double bedroom with kingsize bed, the reading room with sofabed and a handsome Adam style gas fireplace. The kitchen is off the reading room and is fitted with Shaker style units, contemporary tiling and includes a wide range of appliances including dishwasher. An inner hallway leads to a rear vestibule which is used as a cloakroom and leads to the garden, log store and washroom. Also steps descend from here to the lounge/drawing room. The shower room is off the rear hall.
