Self Catering Holiday Cottages Assynt

Travelling  north from Inverness, the route is the A9 to the Tore roundabout which is roughly 7 miles north of Inverness.
Take the second exit at this point and the route is Maryburgh, Ullapool, Ledmore and Lochinver.
Just before entering the village of Lochinver, make a right turn onto the B869 single track road marked Drumbeg. Proceed approximately 13 miles along this road through Clachtoll, Stoer and Clashnessie to the road which is sign posted Culkein-Drumbeg (not Culkein-Stoer which you will meet some 6 miles earlier).
Turn left onto this road and after travelling approximately ¼ mile the chalet will be clearly seen from the top of the hill leading down into the village.

The west Sutherland parish of Assynt is rightly regarded as one of the jewels in the scenic crown of the Scottish Highlands. The southern boundary of the parish is approximately 20 mins drive from the ferry port of Ullapool and the northern boundary is partially formed by the massive sea loch system comprising Lochs Cairn Ban and Glencoul. The principal settlement is the fishing village of Lochinver which is easily reached by means of a two hour car drive from Inverness. Quinag chalet is situated in the crofting village of Culkein-Drumbeg which is 13 miles along the winding coast road from Lochinver.
