The house is only 5 miles / 10 mins drive from St Andrews with its historic University, world famous golf courses and its shops.  Kinshaldy / Tentsmuir Beach with its miles of sand and riding stables is 3 mins drive away. Our guests also enjoy the likes of the Botanic Gardens, East Sands Leisure Centre, West Sands (where Chariots of Fire was filmed), Craigtoun Country Park, the British Gold Museum, The Byre Theatre, St Andrews Castle, the fishing villages of Crail, Elie and Anstruther.  Each September the spectacular Leuchars Air Show is held.

There are many places in St Andrews to eat out - Italian, Thai, French, Indian, Fish & Chips, Coffee Bars and Ice cream Parlours.  There is also a pub in Leuchars itself proving bar meals and a cosy Inn in St Michaels, a 2 mile drive away.
