4 Star Visit Scotland accommodation Fort William Welcome to Taransay Bed and Breakfast Fort William! We are situated in an elevated position, in a quiet cul-de-sac with spectacular views over Loch Linnhe and the Ardgour Hills. Taransay is a pleasant walk of around 15 mins along the shores of the Loch to the town where there are plenty of restaurants, pubs, supermarkets and shops. All our rooms have either ensuite or private shower rooms. They have TV, DVD, tea/coffee making facilities, radio/alarm clocks, and hairdryers. There are also books and DVDs for you to read and watch.

You will enjoy breakfast - a full Scottish breakfast - in our bright airy dining room with stunning views of Loch Linnhe. Continental breakfast with a selection of fresh fruit is also available. All our 3 bedrooms - one family room, one twin room and one single room - overlook the gardens and Loch Linnhe.

Fort William being the Outdoor Capital of the UK, there are many activities locally - hillwalking, fishing, mountain biking, skiing ,golf etc. Why not try the magic of a ride on Britain's only Mountain Gondola to Aonach Mor. For the person looking for a challenge there is always Ben Nevis - the highest mountain in the UK.

Come and stay with us at Taransay, use us as a base to enjoy the surrounding area - Inverness is less than 2 hours drive away, the Isle of Skye, Mull, Oban, and Glencoe can all be visited in a day.
