Welcome to The Grange offering Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Edinburgh where John and Tricia Wood offer guests a warm welcome in their home – a stone-built Victorian house built in 1860 and set in the peaceful and secluded Grange conservation area on the south side of the city only 1½ miles from the centre of Edinburgh.

It is surrounded by a mature ¼ acre walled garden which will be of interest to keen gardeners. A frequent bus service operates nearby for access to the city centre. For the more energetic, a half hour walk will get you to the historic sites. Restaurants and shops, cinemas, theatres and open spaces are all within easy walking distance. Plenty of free parking on the street.

Two bedrooms are available both with their own designated bathrooms. The rooms are attractively decorated in Toile de Jouy fabrics imported from France and both overlook the beautiful walled garden:
Ground-floor double bedroom (can be converted into a twin). Bathroom nearby with bath and with shower spray attachment.
On the upper floor a twin room with wash-hand basin. Bathroom nearby with a bath and shower. 

Breakfast is taken in the dining-room with a choice of muesli, cereals, fruit, croissants and breads, yoghurt, jams and marmalade – much of it home-made – and a variety of teas or freshly made coffee.  A comfortable sitting room with TV is available where guests can relax and enjoy a glass of sherry in the evening. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided.
