| The largest inhabited mansion in Scotland, the present house consists of a large towered and turreted central block with other wings and ranges. The building dates from 1721, and was designed by William Adam for the 1st Duke of Roxburghe. The house was remodelled in the 19th century with a profusion of spires and domes, corbelling and battlements, to the designs of William Playfair. Floors is still the home of the Duke and Duchess of Roxburghe, and was used in the film Greystoke. Collections of furniture, tapestries, works of art and porcelain. Walled garden and park.
