 The Venue

West Park Centre is an all year round, purpose-built conference venue that stands in a leafy, peaceful site on Perth Road, about one mile west of Dundee City Centre.

At West Park we work hard  to ensure that your day  runs smoothly and that delegates feel comfortable and valued.  It is this that makes our clients return time and time again.

Auditorium (left): size: 264 sq m (including stage area). Capacity: 300
4 Breakout Rooms each seating 12-18 (in horseshoe format).  Three of these rooms can be combined into one room.

There are also a variety of smaller meeting areas ranging in capacity from 18 to 160.  These can be set out in a variety of traditional meeting / conference formats to suit you needs - small or large.

Our experienced catering department take pride in delivering a high quality service from buffets to formal conference dinners. View sample menus.

Some of our bedrooms and most of our public rooms have unassisted wheelchair access
 Accommodation

We have 160 en-suite bedrooms which are three star rated by Visit Scotland. Each has TV, safe and tea & coffee making facilities. 21 of the rooms are wheelchair accessible.

 

 Facilities

We are constantly updating our computing and AV equipment, all of which are available to you, together with a Computer Suite for those delegates wishing to access emails and the Internet (prior arrangement and a small charge may apply). 

Our PCs are installed with a range of operating systems and Office suites. Everything can be customised to suit your needs and requirements, provided advance notice is given. 

Our Internet access is Broadband. Most conference rooms can be equipped with the following: PC loaded / Office 2003 Suite / Internet / Multimedia Projector/ Projection screen/projector/ 35mm carousel slide projector/ TV/DVD/VIDEO/ Flipchart and pens. 

We also provide the following services at an additional charge:

  • A suite of PCs (6). In the summertime around 40 are available. These can be configured to your specifications - prior notification is required

  • Full IT support

  • Hire of additional equipment - such as specialised lighting/additional Multimedia Projectors / Laptops

  • Internet ready PCs - very popular with delegates as it allows them access to email.

  • Secretarial support - photocopying, printing, faxing and conference reception duties.
